Opto-Line proudly manufactures parts including high end EMI grids on IR substrates, reticles, and custom patterned optics used for the United States’ defensive systems. The accuracy of our patterns is critical and we take great pride in our work. For an overview of our expertise and to see samples of our work relating to the […]

Typically utilizing our proprietary low-reflecting black chrome, our apertures have become the benchmark for endoscope manufacturers. Our black chrome is very durable, low-reflecting in visible with Rave <5% , OD > 4.0. Excellent edge acuity and accuracy (± 1μm). We can also deposit other required materials such as high reflective protected aluminum, gold, etc.

From 1951 USAF resolution test charts to almost any custom test targets imaginable, Opto-Line can produce any pattern you need with pinpoint precision and accuracy. It is still widely accepted to test the resolution of optical imaging systems such as microscopes, cameras and image scanners. For the 1951 USAF, the common format consists of six […]

Opto-Line patterns on a myriad of substrates including all glass material and other IR materials including geranium, silicon, zinc sulfide, quartz, and sapphire. The largest substrate size that Opto-Line can pattern is approximately 12.5” diagonal. The smallest part that can be manufactured is about 1mm x 1mm.

Our multi-density resolution masks can be fabricated by either half tone or continuous methods as described below. Half Tone: By using very small dots and changing the amount of the dots, we can create varying densities that typically fulfill our customers’ needs. Continuous: Discrete, individual depositions of Inconel are used to create each density. In […]

A beam splitter is a device for dividing a beam of light or other electromagnetic radiation into two or more separate beams. Offering a distinct advantage over standard dielectric beamsplitters, Polka-Dot Beamsplitters have a constant reflection/transmission ratio over a large spectral range and are ideal for use with broadband, extended sources, such as tungsten, halogen, […]
